华慧考博—英语中的时间点和分数的表达方式
在英语的学习中，不少华慧考博的学员对于时间点和分数的表达有时会犯这样或那样的错误。为了让大家更好地掌握并灵活地使用英语中的时间点和分数的表达方式，在这里华慧考博老师将与各位学员一起来进行一些相关的表达方式的总结。
1.时间点的表达
1）所有的时间点都可以用“小时+分钟”的方式来表达，如：
3:00（3点）three或threeo’clock
3:05（3点零5分）threeofive
3:15（3点15分）threefifteen
3:30（3点30分）threethirty
3:40（3点40分）threeforty
3:45（3点45分）threeforty-five
12:45（12点45分）twelveforty-five
14:45（14点45分）fourteenforty-five
备注：在表示整点时可以直接表达小时的数字或也可以在表达的小时数字后再加上o’clock。

2）如果表示的时间点的分钟数不大于30分钟，可以用“分钟+past+小时”的方式来表达，如：
3:05（3点零5分）fivepastthree
3:15（3点15分）fifteenpastthree
3:30（3点30分）thirtypastthree或halfpastthree
12:05（12点零5分）fivepasttwelve
14:25（14点25分）twenty-fivepastfourteen
14:30（14点30分）thirtypastfourteen或halfpastfourteen
备注：当表示的时间点的分钟数正好是30分钟时，可以用“分钟+past+小时”或“halfpast+小时”的方式来表达。

3）如果表示的时间点的分钟数大于30分钟，可以用“分钟（即1个小时减去现在要表达的分钟数而剩下的分钟数）+to+小时（即现在要表达的小时数加上1个小时后而得到的小时数）”的方式来表达，如：
3:40（3点40分）twentytofour
3:45（3点45分）fifteentofour
11:55（11点55分）fivetotwelve
12:35（12点35分）twenty-fivetothirteen
12:45（12点45分）fifteentothirteen
14:45（14点45分）fifteentofifteen
4）如果表示的时间点的分钟数与15分钟有关，那么可用aquarter（即一刻钟）来表达相应的15分钟，如：
3:15（3点15分）aquarterpastthree
3:45（3点45分）aquartertofour
12:15（12点15分）aquarterpasttwelve
12:45（12点45分）aquartertothirteen
5）表示上午的时间，可用“at+时间+inthemorning或+”来表达；而表示下午的时间，可用“at+时间+intheafternoon或+”来表达；如：
（1)在上午6点45分——atsixforty-five/fifteentoseven/aquartertoseveninthemorning
——atsixforty-five/fifteentoseven/
（2)在上午6点15分——atsixfifteen/fifteenpastsix/aquarterpastsixinthemorning
——atsixfifteen/fifteenpastsix/
（3)在下午6点45分——atsixforty-five/fifteentoseven/aquartertosevenintheafternoon
——atsixforty-five/fifteentoseven/
（4)在下午6点15分——atsixfifteen/fifteenpastsix/aquarterpastsixintheafternoon

2.分数的表达
1）在英语中，分数的分子用基数词表达，而其分母用序数词表达；且当其分子大于1时，分母需用序数词的复数形式来表达；如：
（1）三分之一onethird；四分之一onefourth；十分之一onetenth；二十五分之一onetwenty-fifth
（2）三分之二twothirds；四分之三threefourths；十分之三threetenths；二十五分之四fourtwenty-fifths；二十六分之六sixtwenty-sixths
2）在英语中，有些分数用half或quarter来表达；如：
二分之一onehalf或ahalf
四分之一aquarter或onefourth
四分之三threequarters或threefourths
3）在英语中，带分数用and连接整数和分数的表达，如：
二又四分之三twoandthreefourths或twoandthreequarters
五又四分之一fiveandonefourth或fiveandaquarter
二十又五分之一twentyandonefifth
二十又五分之三twentyandthreefifths
